CASTIGLIONE DELLA PESCAIA- 10/11th September 2008
The second SLSTC organized by SaFa2000 and Elena Prelle comes to international level: 40 athletes from 8 italian clubs and one club form Germany.Presenters of the highest level worked together with Thomas Zachert (Ger) to coach during the two days camp: Grant Wilkinson (Aus), Flora Manciet (Fra) and David Loosen (Ger).

BELLARIA/IGEA MARINA – 19/20th April 2008
This is the first SLSTC organized in Italy, born thanks to good relations held by Elena Prelle with foreign coaches and athletes and to excellent planning of the friendly staff of SaFa 2000.Over than 60 athletes taking part to the event, representing 15 club of the Italian Swimming Federation (FIN).
The Training Camp has also hosted, on Saturday, the future coaches participant to the FIN (italian federation) lifesaving coaching course, to learn something more about ocean events.

"L'iniziativa intrapresa da Elena Prelle, l'atleta più titolata al mondo, condivisa e sostenuta dai vertici federali, è certamente da ritenersi la "stella d'oro" che si aggiunge alla costante cavalcata di innumerevoli successi organizzativi, tecnici ed agonistici portati avanti da tutte le componenti del Settore del Salvamento Sportivo - Agonistico della Federazione Italiana Nuoto. Questo TRAINING CAMP, che è gratificato anche dal Patrocinio del Comune di BELLARIA-IGEA MARINA, e che sarà tenuto sotto l'accorta e competente Direzione Tecnica di Elena Prelle, che, nell'occasione, sarà collaborata da eminenti tecnici stranieri - Thomas ZACKERT - Soren BORCH - David LOOSEN - Monique DRIESSEN - avrà certamente grande successo. PRENDE IL VIA DA TORINO IL PROGETTO "SALVAMENTO"Parte da Torino il progetto per far crescere in Italia la pratica del salvamento a livello agonistico. Nato da un'idea di Elena Prelle, campionessa torinese tra le migliori atlete al mondo della specialità, e organizzato dalla Safa 2000 con il patrocinio della Federazione Italiana Nuoto, oggi e domani bellari-Igea Marina ospiterà il "Training Camp Surf Lifesaving", una due giorni di aggiornamento e allenamenti rivolti ad atleti che vogliono puntare ad accrescere il loro tasso tecnico nelle gare oceaniche. I 60 posti a disposizione sono andati esauriti in pochi giorni a conferma del grande successo riscosso dall'iniziativa. Gli iscritti saranno chiamati ad una full immersion du tecnica e pratica sull'utilizzo di attrezzi quali tavola e canoa e sullo svolgimento di gare di bandierine. Docenti d'eccezione, oltre alla Prelle, saranno atleti di fama internazionale quali i tedeschi Sören Borch, David Loosen, Thomas Zachert e l'landese Monique Driessen. Quello effettuato dalla Safa 2000 è il primo passo per arrivare ad un progetto ancora più ambizioso, quello di far nascere una scuola permanente per avvicinare gli atleti all'attività agonistica delle gare oceaniche.
